John and his wife, Kelly, were married in April 2007. They have two daughters, Kamryn and Emalyn. John was called to ministry when he was 20 years old. He then spent 2 years as a college intern at FBC Social Circle, leading their college ministry. From July 2007 to June 2023, John served at Crossroads Baptist Church as the Pastor of Administration and Children, with Kelly leading the Preschool Ministry. He graduated from Georgia State University with a Business Degree in 2006 and graduated in 2021 from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary with a Masters of Divinity. His calling is to lead the local church to achieve the mission of Christ: making disciples of all nations, by using his spiritual gifts of pastor/shepherding, teaching, and administration. His passion is to see WayPoint Church make, mature, and multiply disciples of Jesus Christ.
